Refund & Cancellation Policy – Mountain View Resort
At Mountain View Resort, we know that travel plans can sometimes change. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy is designed to be transparent and fair, while also considering the operational preparations involved in hosting your stay.
1. Booking Confirmation
Reservation is considered confirmed only after full or partial payment (as required) is received and you get a booking confirmation from us via email/SMS.
2. Cancellation Policy
To cancel a booking, guests must notify us in writing via email at the contact details provided on the website.
Refund eligibility is as follows:
- Cancellation more than 14 days before check-in: 100% refund of the amount paid (exclusive of processing fees).
- Cancellation between 7–14 days before check-in: 50% refund of the amount paid.
- Cancellation within 7 days of check-in: No refund.
- No-show or failure to arrive: No refund.
Note: Specific seasonal, peak-period, or promotional bookings may have different cancellation terms. Always review the policy shown at time of booking.
3. Early Departure / Shortened Stays
If you choose to check-out early or shorten your stay after arrival, no refund will be issued for unused nights.
4. Refund Process
Once a cancellation request is approved:
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method only (e.g., UPI, bank transfer, card).
- Refund processing time is typically 7–15 business days depending on your bank/financial institution.
- Payment gateway or transaction fees (e.g., bank charges) are non-refundable and may be deducted from the refund.
5. Rescheduling (Date Changes)
- Rescheduling requests are allowed once if notified at least 7 days prior to check-in, subject to availability and any price difference.
- Rescheduled stays must be within 3 months of the original booking date (unless otherwise agreed).
6. Force Majeure / Exceptional Circumstances
In cases of government travel restrictions, pandemics, natural calamities, or other events beyond our control:
- We may offer a credit note valid for future use (validity period to be specified at that time).
- Refunds may be provided at our discretion.
